About the Speaker
As department manager and Agile administrator for the last
four years with start-up Handspring Inc. of Mountain View,
California, Jim MacFarlane served
as chief architect of the various processes surrounding
documentation control and configuration management for Handspring
and the soon to be merged PalmOne corporation. Formerly
of 3Com, and Coherent Laser Systems in Santa Clara, he has
15 years experience in Document Control and configuration
management. Jim is currently the Manager of the Document
Services Department for PalmOne.
